See where your commitment could take you. Who are we looking for? We are seeking an Electrical Engineer at Senior or Technical Director level to join our highly skilled team in Hobart or Launceston. This is a significant opportunity where your expertise will be valued as you take the lead on projects, mentor junior engineers and build strong client relationships. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Designing and preparing documentation for electrical systems for a variety of projects across a range of disciplines including future energy, industrial, power systems, generation, distribution, and transmission Leading and managing projects from conception to completion Conducting feasibility studies and provide technical advice Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions Mentoring and supporting junior engineers in their professional development Leveraging your background and contacts to develop business and contribute to winning work Technical leadership and commercial direction on projects Identify business development opportunities and contribute to proposals What you will bring to the team Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (BEng or equivalent acceptable to Engineers Australia) Between 10 & 20 years of experience in electrical engineering, that includes future energy, industrial, power systems, generation, distribution, or transmission Experience in renewables, power systems and/or instrumentation and control Experience with relevant LV/HV design software is desirable Strong knowledge and application of relevant Australian codes, standards, and regulations Experience in business development and responding to requests for tender Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to determine and solve complex problems Interested?
