How will I help? Design & build valuable, Best in Class Service Management platforms that are engineered to be highly standardised, automated and commoditised, that are adaptable and scalable allowing us to operate at greater speed, stability and efficiency in the support of our colleagues and business. These solutions are designed to vendor best practices that ensure seamless upgrades are available and Westpac drive the benefits through adopting best practices further driving both optimisation and efficiency. To achieve end-to-end service objective, the role will directly lead a team of strong engineers with credible product and platform knowledge. Furthermore, this team will have strong communication and collaboration skills that will allow them to both engage and lead internal stakeholders to align to best practices while still meeting their objectives. Your key responsibilities include: Provide technology leadership and advice within Technology and relevant LoBs consistent with Group strategy and applicable laws and regulations. Provide technology expertise to SM platform projects to ensure successful outcomes and engineered solutions. Designing and implementing solutions aligned to vendor best practices, methodologies and standards that ensure future upgrades are seamless. Oversee human resource management including motivating and leading a high-performance team, attracting and retaining required talent. Alignment with strategic workforce plan. Effective vendor and stakeholder management to deliver accepted solution designs which meet business needs, platform roadmaps and technology product plans. Delivery product plans and designs that enable SM Platforms to deliver to project KPIs, meet business needs and operate according to scorecard objectives and industry benchmarks. Design, develop, and implement SM platforms within frameworks, policies and standards to ensure effective compliance, governance, monitoring, control and reporting. Solutions deliver to the Enterprise Technology Strategy. Develop a roadmap of product and feature upgrades that can be implemented to ensure that Westpac drive the most value and efficiency from the product. Report on the performance and governance of Service Management Platforms to Head of Service Management Practices and Platforms. Leading and embedding team culture (including risk culture). Proven experience with Business and technology relationship management at senior / executive levels. 5 years of Service Management and Vendor management experience. Coaching and people development skills creating a high performing team. Desirable: 5 years of ServiceNow experience. 5 years of Project management and experience with agile. 2 years of Westpac experience. What is it like to work there?
