It is a mix of being out on the road to do the sales and being in the office to perform CNC machining operations. This company specialises in the supply of a large range of premium metal cutting tools, lubricants and associated products to the Precision Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing industry which includes industries such as Aerospace, Rail, Defence, Medical, Toolmaking and Specialist Engineering. They need someone that can perform a mix of Technical Sales, as well as CNC Applications Engineering. The Technical Sales aspect of this position will involve working to planned visits around South Australia and at times, some interstate travel may be required. You will be doing face to face calls to technical clients, existing and new potentials, advising on product range and technical solutions for CNC metal cutting applications. The CNC Applications aspect of this role will involve some assistance in programming & operating high end CNC machinery at the companies head office , performing cycle time studies and cutting tool trials. You will be supported by a team of experts in their product range and you will be given ongoing support and product training. This is truly an exciting position where you will be meeting some high-end engineering businesses and discussing how you can assist their businesses. This role maybe quite suitable for a CNC Trades person or Toolmaker with skills in Cutting Tools and CNC Machining that wants to take the next step into sales. The ideal applicant will have the following: CNC Metal Cutting tools knowledge. Engineering or Trade Fitter & Turner Background. Sales experience ideal. CAM Programming experience. CNC Machining background would also be ideal. Must have excellent communication skills.
