Confluence Water delivers design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services in Sydney Water's North region, which stretches from Sydney Harbour to the Hawkesbury River and includes the Hills Shire. THE ROLE Located primarily at the North Head Water Resource Recovery Facility in the heart of Sydney's Northern Beaches, this Senior Electrical Engineering position presents an exceptional opportunity. As the Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project life cycle, from conception to completion. We are looking for a Senior Electrical Project Engineer with a background in delivering complex electrical projects in the water space that include a significant HV component. Supporting the Project Manager to ensure allocated projects are delivered to scope within time, cost, quality and regulatory standards. Liaise with client representatives, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and planning authorities, facilitate meetings and workshops to ensure satisfactory completion of planned work. Interfacing with the design team to ensure design milestones are met and provide constructability/methodology inputs during the design development phase (Stage 1). Managing the Subcontractors/ suppliers and contribute to the review process and ensure reviews are planned and undertaken well in advance of works starting on site (Stage 2). Demonstrate sound people management skills by managing work and performance of self-perform workforce and subcontractors to achieve outcomes. Preparing subcontractor scope of work, and relevant documentation for tender by potential subcontractors with the Commercial team. Monitor and review project costs, supplier's invoices, subcontractor's claim for allocated projects.
