The role is a Senior Software Engineer in the Infrastructure Controls Automation Portfolio which consists of the Control Attestation Framework service, and a leveraged Infrastructure Automation environment. The portfolio and services are enabling the bank to increase our visibility and improve our management for IT Service Control compliance and attestation, and improving our engineering and operational delivery across Infrastructure through increased Automation. Key Responsibilities Participate in systems requirements definition and ensure requirements are understood and accurately defined. Solution Architecture and software design Direct technical aspect of software development and ensuring that software is developed and tested to the agreed standards and specifications. Enhancement of existing web application solutions. Review, understand and resolve service requests for Software Additions, Fixes or Improvements. Review business requirements and investigate ways to improve software services. We don't expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team; Very good experience in software development. Must have strong web development skills experience in React Experience in Django Framework, Python, Graphql is desirable Understanding of cloud technologies like AWS / Kubernetes is desirable. System Testing and Test Case Definition. Experience working on high traffic web solutions is desirable Ability to work in a dynamic team environment. Experience with Git, yarn and CI/CD using Jenkins Understanding and Experience in Secure Coding Practices for Solution Design and Delivery.
