The Asset Management System Engineer will be responsible for supporting the implementation and continual improvement Transgrid's Asset Management and Electrical Safety Management Systems. These form key enablers for Transgrid's ISO 55001 certified management system and AS5577 electricity network safety obligations. You will be responsible for monitoring the continued effectiveness and regulatory compliance of Transgrid's Asset Management and Electricity Network Safety Management Systems and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. Your role will include monitoring the Asset Management Compliance Plan, audit plan, contributing to risk assessments and safety cases, and accurate completion of regulatory reporting obligations associated with the NSW, ACT and Victorian Transmission licenses About you Tertiary qualifications at degree level in an appropriate discipline. Awareness in the asset lifecycle management and systems to support and meet ISO 55001 requirements. Ability to understand internal and external stakeholder requirements and develop awareness, communications and management strategies Understanding of the role and requirements of planning and regulatory agencies. Excellent written and verbal communications skills Well-developed analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills. Skills in relevant computer systems including spreadsheets, databases, and reporting. Desirable Formal qualifications in Asset Management recognised by leading bodies. Knowledge and experience in engineering practice related to the design, construction, maintenance, operation and asset management of transmission network/assets. Knowledge of the principles and experience in working with Management Systems, including, Health and Safety, Environment, Electricity Network Safety, Asset Management and Quality. Knowledge and experience in management systems and reporting. Knowledge of the energy industry.
