Beginning in February 2025, you'll embark on a transformative three-year journey, marked by hands-on learning, role rotations, comprehensive training, mentorship, and exclusive development prospects, shaping your career trajectory. You’ll be empowered to work in a variety of roles across the business in both site and office-based environments, providing a strong technical foundation and experiences outside of your core discipline. During the program, you'll receive personalised support to reach your goals, including daily coaching, participation in a formal mentoring program, guidance from a graduate buddy, comprehensive technical training, and various professional development opportunities. Our smaller graduate cohorts ensure a tailored experience, paving the way for long-term career prospects across multiple fields. IS THIS YOU? We’re looking for an innovative graduate in the disciplines of Mechatronics, Electrical or Software Engineering, who possess an understanding of Computer networks and distributed computer systems to join our Cyber and Controls team in Energy Supply and Operations (Generation). Ideal candidates will appreciate teamwork, excel in communication and problem-solving, effectively engage with a variety of people and be excited by the opportunity to play a critical role in powering our future and support the energy transition. Candidate possessing an understanding of Virtualisation infrastructure (hypervisor, domain, automated backups) or Service provisioning in any cloud vendors - AWS, GCP, AZURE or Oracle, together with a knowledge of API programming (REST and GraphQL) and Application development in either python, JavaScript, c# or PowerShell will be highly regarded. Any combination of the following will also be considered favourable: Installing, configuring any types of security or monitoring tools (McAfee, CrowdStrike, Splunk etc) IoT Using Active directory services Knowledge of PLCs and SCADA technologies Experience with industrial protocols (OPC, OPCUA, Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850, Profibus, etc) Programming using languages defined in IEC 61131-3 Cyber security concepts. Experience with any SIEM or similar monitoring solutions Text to diagram language experience (D2, mermaid.js etc) Graduate roles are located primarily in Brisbane with limited opportunities available in Newcastle. To assist in developing an exceptional technical foundation that turbocharges your career and provides a deeper learning experience, site-based opportunities may be offered. (Travel would be at the company’s expense). You must hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency (PR) to be eligible for this opportunity and be available to start full-time work in February 2025.
