Utilise your Release Train Engineer expertise Fixed – 30 th June 2025, Full-Time VPS Grade 6: $130,673 - $174,869 plus super The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) is seeking a Release Train Engineer to provide a critical role within Technology Solutions and Data Security About the Business Unit Technology Services explores and employs technology to enable the department's business to function via the use of modern, appropriate platforms, products and services. It supports enterprise-wide platforms and services including critical applications, networks, telecommunication, call centres, hosting, intranet/internet sites; delivers business and corporate funded project; and oversees the delivering of services provided by technology service providers such as Cenitex About the Role The Release Train Engineer's primary responsibility is to ensure the successful execution of the Agile Release Train against agreed Program Increment (PI) plans and objectives. You will also define PI plans, effectively lead and coordinate the agile teams through this process by facilitating agile ceremonies for alignment, tracking and dependency management. Some of your duties will include: Create strategies for the effective planning, monitoring, reporting, establishment and outcomes for agile delivery teams to deliver on the program's strategy and contribute to the creation of value and the delivery of program benefits. Conduct complex agile ceremonies, including program increment planning, showcases or demonstrations, scrum of scrums, system demos and retrospectives as well as synchronisation across the train and improvement planning. Ensure alignment of all agile teams with the agile and scrum processes, practices, patterns and principles and contribute to the organisations progress in agile maturity.
