We're on the lookout for a Principal Engineer with experience across the MS 365 platform and technical strategic leadership expertise. This role will focus on the ongoing design, development, support, and uplift on our Business Operations Process Improvement using MS 365 Platform and solutions including SharePoint 365, Dynamics 365, Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Platform (Flow). This role will be part of the wider Platform and Engineering Technology team with the responsible for driving and delivering the technology roadmap for the wider Group. We support the digitisation and optimisation of operational processes across the bank supporting the COO and our product business in simplifying and enhancing the customer experience. As the Principal Engineer you will report to the Chapter Lead Engineering Digitisation and Enablement Crew. You will lead the technical and strategic capabilities across our MS 365 products including SharePoint 365, Dynamics 365, Power BI, Power Platform including Power Apps, and Power Automate/Flow. Our Principal Software Engineers are hands-on technical subject-matter experts, accountable for significant portions of large platforms end-to-end, from teams to the security, performance, and reliability. While having no direct reports, you will be guiding and mentoring the engineers across your crew to scaffold the develop of elegant, well tested, and maintainable code and or software solutions. We're interested in hearing from people who: Can design innovative solutions to solve complicated problems as part of a cross-functional squad. Have lead major end to end solutions end to end including discovery, strategy, design, product, development and deploy across MS products e.g Dynamics, SharePoint, Power BI, Power platform, PowerApps etc. Ensure our technical approach is sound, fit for purpose, and well architected. Bring the ability to build effective, trusted relationships in a collaborative and engaging manner with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders Have proven expertise across design, configuration, integration, testing, release, maintenance, and support of MS 365 applications and services. Are proficient in build and deploy solutions within Microsoft 365 platform, including SharePoint Online, Power Automate, and Power Apps. Can lead and execute Microsoft 365 migration projects. Migrating information from legacy systems into SharePoint Online, Power Automate and Power Apps. Are a proficient communicator, able to identify business requirements through discussions, and develop well-thought-out and carefully considered solutions. Have experience in design and implementation and can offer support on enterprise solutions across the Microsoft 365 platform. Tech skills Proficient in leading technical and strategic outcomes with the ability to develop and engineer complex, robust and quality solutions. Proven experience in developing and deploying custom applications across MS Suites. Highly experience developing solutions across MS 365 products including; SharePoint 365, Dynamics 365, Power BI, Power Platform including Power Apps, and Power Automate/Flow. Experience in developing solutions in Microsoft 365 using the SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and/or the Power Platform (Power Apps/Power Automate). Ability to design and implement data integrations using Microsoft Power Automate. Strong understanding of security best practices in Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. Experience developing for Power Pages or Power Apps portals.
