How will I help? In this role of Engineer - Credit Cards Processing Systems you will manage the link between the business and our technology supplier (Fiserv). You will need in depth knowledge of Credit Card Processing, problem solving and analysis skills and to be able to question and escalate should any requirements not provide sufficient detail to enable Fiserv to deliver a reasonable estimate for the work required and to review the solution design to ensure that it meets Business needs. Once projects have been approved and prioritized you will work with Fiserv and IT Project Managers to ensure the solution is delivered as per the design. Additionally, you will be required to develop and execute test cases to validate that the solutions are correctly delivered. Key role responsibilities include: Ensuring that the changes that you are responsible for are successfully designed, tested and implemented. Perform detailed Business post-implementation verification (PIV) for all assigned projects. Taking ownership of assigned projects in regard to verification of design and alignment to Business requirements, testing of solution and input to the project's implementation requirements. Reviewing business requirements and provide feedback Working with Fiserv as the key contact for the projects you are allocated Escalating any issues that are raised as part of the overall solution design Developing test cases and perform User Acceptance Testing on behalf of the business for VisionPLUS project changes Performing PIV for project changes implemented. Communicating with project managers on the progress of your change Developing good working relationships with internal stakeholders and with the Fiserv resources working on your changes You must be aware of any changes implemented and fully assess risks associated with the change to ensure compliance What's in it for you? To be successful in this role, you need to have the following skills and personal attributes: 5 years' experience in working with Credit Cards Processing systems preferably VisionPLUS Effective communication skills Understanding of the functionality and capability provided by our credit card processing system VisionPLUS MS Office Suite experience. Excellent collaboration skills and ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders Strategic thinking skills, business and commercial acumen. Strong problem solving and resolution capabilities Strong customer service orientation Tertiary or equivalent qualifications in a related field What is it like to work there?
