Our client About the role The role will be a fast paced and varied role, and your responsibilities will include: Provide electrical support to ensure successful project engineering. Interpret and apply Australian standards for project delivery. Analyse stakeholder needs to develop functional descriptions. Offer technical support for effective project commissioning, enhancing local ownership and utilizing CA resources. Ensure the use of appropriate project design techniques, tools, and engineering methods and standards for all assigned projects. Interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematics. Interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID). Engage with various clients on-site, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills. Create work instructions for operators and engineering teams. Facilitate technical communications with engineering, project, and maintenance teams. About you You will be an Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification work experience in Australia. In addition to this you will have: ONE of the following qualifications required: Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical / Electronics (must be Washington Accord accredited) OR Advanced Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering AND Trade Qualified - Electrical / Instrumentation and Control Skills & Knowledge: Electrical / Electronic engineering. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Be able to work with multiple discipline teams including contractors/consultants. Control and Automation Systems knowledge. Programming Languages e.g. VBA, C++, MATLAB, LabView. Understanding of PLC, CPU and MPU architectures and subcomponents. Be able to interpret electrical drawings and schematics and execute basic drawing modifications in Auto-Cad. Strong Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office Suite Skills. Networking and serial communication knowledge. Application of Mathematical methods for analysis and modelling. Report writing and operator instruction manuals. Experience: Proven interest and experience in electrical engineering. Familiarity with AS3000 electrical installations. Demonstrated skills in design and problem-solving.
