Engineering Lead Company Overview Reporting to: Head of Engineering Global Insurance Company 500 Employee Hybrid Working arrangement - 2/3 days in offices. Sydney CBD Location. Overview: You will be leading and shaping a growing engineering team whilst being responsible for leading development and design of our core platform. Lead the development and implementation of complex web applications and APIs, leveraging strong technical expertise in software engineering principles and best practices. Mentor and guide technical teams, ensuring high-quality, end-to-end application development while enhancing developer productivity through advanced tooling and process improvements. Responsibilities/ Requirements: Proven experience in Leading the development team in designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend and frontend architectures while ensuring high-quality, well-tested code. Foster a high-performing team culture through tailored coaching, continuous improvement processes, and proactive risk management. Provide feedback to stakeholders on project feasibility and timelines and anticipate technology trends that impact customer experience. Etc. Over 8 years' experience in .Net/C# development. Strong API experience - RESTful/Microservices. Experience with AWS/Azure. Must have full working rights in Australia - PR/Australian Citizen.
