We are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer with complex technical development and automation experience to assist our client in the development of a new capability for Defence. This role will lead Integration and V&V activities across hardware, software and various other systems. Highlights: 3-month contract, extensions thereafter Brand new Defence acquisition program SA based, Edinburgh Parks August Start The role: Conduct systems analysis to establish functional, performance, and interface requirements that fulfill system needs. Manage Verification and Validation (V&V) activities, including creating test plans, executing tests, and delivering formal reports Engage in system design activities, including trade studies, to ensure the system architecture aligns with the baseline product Maintain and update system design documentation, including specifications and interface requirements, as necessary. Develop and manage system architecture design documents as required throughout the project lifecycle. Other details: Minimum 8 years' experience as a Systems Engineer, Verification &Validation or Integration Engineer Experience in System Engineering, Integration and Verification on large complex systems within the Defence industry. Demonstrated experience using DOORS Experience with the setup and documentation of program V&V test plans, as well as managing test execution when required Proven experience delivering within an agile development environment.
