An exceptional opportunity for an experienced and versatile procurement engineer to join our team in Melbourne and work on large scale infrastructure projects. The Procurement Engineer will assist the Procurement & Hardware Delivery Manager in providing efficient and costeffective supply, storage and distribution of the electronic devices and other hardware equipment stored and installed in a test facility to be configured, tested and integrated for the further installation in the tunnel. Key responsibilities: Assist the Procurement & Hardware Delivery Manager in the development and execution of the Procurement Plan for the project. Manage procurement documentation (purchase orders, delivery dockets, production/batch records, store products preservation requirements, etc). Liaise with other subcontractors to procure and receive goods for the project. Liaise with suppliers to ensure accurate and timely deliveries. Liaise with the project design teams to arrange procurement of assets. Maintaining the register of purchased equipment. Requirements To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should bring: Tertiary qualifications in engineering or equivalent experience. Previous experience in similar roles, ideally within construction or engineering related projects. Essential Competencies (knowledge, skills and attributes). General understanding and application of procurement principles, concepts, practices and standards. Ability to understand and negotiate supplier contracts. Excellent organisation and time management skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
