• Tertiary qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology. • AWS Associate or Professional Certification highly desirable (Solutions Archited, SysOps Administration, DevOps Engineer, or Developer) Experience (minimum type and level of experience required to perform the role) • At least 8 years appropriate industry experience in large enterprise organization. • Excellent knowledge/experience in the application of Agile and Lean approaches. • Deep experience working with Cloud based services (including SaaS, PaaS, IaaS). • Strong scripting – Must be very familiar with Python. • Demonstrated experience of understanding security & governance challenges involved in deploying to Cloud environments. • In depth experience deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes/OpenShift using tools such as Kustomize or Helm. • Solid experience with Linux system implementation and management using automation frameworks like Ansible or Puppet. • Solid experience with Cloud Orchestration frameworks like Terraform. • Demonstrated knowledge of operating systems as well as developing and delivering platform solutions in multiple environments. • Knowledge of ITIL and IT Service Management best practices, with particular focus on Service Design, Service Transition and Continual Service Improvement Key Capabilities/Technical Competencies (skills, knowledge, technical or specialist capabilities) • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and influencing skills. • Demonstrated learning agility and ability to rapidly adjust to new contexts, technologies and trends • Able to work as collaboratively and contribute to creation of effective team environments for people to innovate and learn • Proven ability to consult and facilitate discussions regarding alternative approaches and to broker consensus across broad stakeholder groups • Strong stakeholder management, planning, organization, decision making and time management skills • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and demonstrate self-management. • High level of flexibility with a strong ability to lead others successfully through cultural, process, system and transformational change • Ability to contribute to and understand strategic perspectives and translate into tactical actions • Working knowledge of information technology and technology industry trends and issues • Sound knowledge of how information and technology contributes to business performance • Strong knowledge of the technology and assets that your team is responsible for
