Edinburgh, SA or Fishermans Bend, VIC NV1 clearance required - NV2 desired Long 10 24 month Federal Government contract Our client, a large Federal Government department charged with the responsibility to defend Australia and its national interests are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer. Key duties/skills include: Knowledge and experience within Private and/or Public Cloud technologies, including VMware product suite, Microsoft Azure; Practical knowledge of Operating Systems - Windows Server 20xx, RHEL 8/9, Ubuntu 22/24 including tools for their administration; Working experience with TCP/IP networking (DNS, DHCP, etc); Certified virtualization accreditation and experience using VMWare or Azure. Criteria: Demonstrated technical background in hosted services environments including hardware, software, virtualization and storage; Knowledge and experience within Private and/or Public Cloud technologies, including VMware product suite, Microsoft Azure; Strong knowledge of security as it relates to cloud based services; Technical ability to resolve complex incidents and problems with experience in networking and security products.
