Key Responsibilities: Develop and design HVAC and other mechanical systems for both new constructions and renovations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications using advanced CAD software (Revit MEP). Perform comprehensive load calculations, system simulations, and energy modeling to guarantee optimal system efficiency. Collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to seamlessly integrate HVAC systems into building designs. Conduct site assessments to evaluate project needs and existing conditions. Prepare and review technical documentation, including reports and proposals. Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to provide innovative solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field. Professional registration (RPEQ) preferred or currently in progress. Proven experience in HVAC system design and engineering, particularly within a consulting environment. Proficiency with HVAC design software (e.g. Revit MEP, AutoCAD) and CAD tools. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, building codes, and energy efficiency standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
