About the Role: Our client is seeking a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of various electrical control systems, ensuring they meet the highest industry standards. You will work closely with new and existing clients to understand their requirements and provide innovative solutions that align with their goals. Key Responsibilities: Design low voltage distribution and motor control circuits Perform LV power system modelling and cable selection Develop control systems for various products and industries Design control networks and instrument loops Create instrument data sheets and manage procurement Select, configure, and commission variable speed drives Assist with factory acceptance testing, commissioning, and site acceptance testing of LV motors, DOL starters, and PLC systems Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions Manage projects to ensure timely and quality delivery of requirements. About You: You are a skilled Electrical Engineer with a strong background in industrial electrical control. You thrive in a collaborative environment and possess excellent communication skills. You are experienced in managing client relationships and are committed to delivering high-quality work. Essential Selection Criteria: Electrical engineering qualification (Bachelor, Certificate, Advanced Diploma, Associate Diploma) Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience in managing, developing, and maintaining client relationships Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Experience in the water, chemical, materials handling, mining, or industrial sectors Valid NSW Drivers Licence. Desirable Selection Criteria: Functional safety certification Competence with Powercad / PTW Electrical contractor’s licence Experience in configuring and commissioning a wide range of industrial instrumentation.
