CBGU JV brings together CPB Contractors, BAM, Ghella and UGL to deliver the Tunnel and Station Package for Brisbane’s Cross River Rail, the 10.2 kilometre rail line between Dutton Park and Bowen Hills, including 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD. The project also includes construction of four new underground stations at Roma Street, Albert Street, Boggo Road and Woolloongabba, where the future upgraded Olympic stadium will stand. Reporting to the Commissioning & Completions Director, you will be responsible for electrical engineering and railway engineering functions in relation to traction distribution, power supply and general electrical power systems requirements. You will be responsible for: Complete inspections and documentation of traction distribution projects in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with safety and quality principles Undertake investigations into aspects of the traction distribution system, as directed, ensuring compliance with safety and quality principles Provide advice on all aspects of traction distribution systems to internal and external clients Carry out audits for construction and maintenance of traction distribution equipment Attend and complete testing and commissioning of traction distribution projects. Minimum requirements for this role include the following: Recognised degree in Electrical Engineering. Demonstrated knowledge of traction distribution design, standards, quality processes and document control. High level knowledge of construction and maintenance activities for traction distribution and traction power systems. Experienced in overseeing subcontractor safety, quality and progress to achieve desired project outcomes.
