The other two days you’re in the office you will find yourself working closely with and influencing cross functional teams - product, sales and finance. Your work directly impacts the digital e-commerce platform, touching the lives of millions of customers and allowing you to see real results from your efforts. What you’ll do: Foundation Building: Play a crucial role in developing data foundations that support analytics, reporting, and AI at scale. Pipeline Development: Design, create, and manage scalable data pipelines using DBT and BigQuery for data ingestion, transformation, and storage. Data Investigation: Perform SQL data investigations and optimisations, and troubleshoot any pipeline-related issues. Monitoring & Alerting: Implement solutions to monitor and alert on pipeline and data issues, ensuring data quality, pipeline health, performance metrics, continuous data flow, and minimal downtime. What you’ll bring: 3 years experience in data engineering, including ETL processes, data modelling, and data warehouse development in cloud environments Strong experience with hands-on design, development and support of Enterprise Data Warehouses Extensive hands on experience of working with DBT and Bigquery Advanced SQL for data transformation and querying Experience with GCP, AWS or Azure Experience working with large volumes of data and transforming it There is plenty of room for growth across the company as they scale their data team.
