To ensure client satisfaction is maximized and Buildcorp construction risk is minimized, and financial result is maximized. The successful applicant will be required to perform the following duties: Take the lead role in the promotion, management and enforcement of onsite safety, including monitoring of site safety, completion of safety administration and a proactive approach to rectification. With support from a Project Manager design comprehensive project programmes in ASTA as a tool to identify and mitigate construction risk, and produce projects that maximize productivity Ensuring procedures and responsibilities outlined in the Buildcorp Quality Management Guide are followed and met by all project staff. Identify and manage construction risk throughout all projects, escalate issues to the construction manager when required. Manage project expenditure and cash-flow to optimize financial outcome, ensure financial processes are followed Administer the head contract and subcontracts, including progress claims, variation, delay and extension of time claims in a timely manner ensuring full compliance With support from the Project Manager ensure adequate preparation for project finalization with a thorough project completion plan. Manage defect identification and rectification and project completion to result in clients Skills And Experiences To be considered for this role you will have the following: In-depth knowledge of relevant codes, standards, internal policies, and business systems Understands head contracts and subcontracts Well-developed ability to identify and control risk during conversion and construction periods Able to create and status a full construction programme and plan Developing the ability to deliver successful construction programmes over $10m, may be responsible to deliver programmes under $10m (with guidance) Strong understanding of construction techniques and the building process and constraints Strong project financial reporting skill Proficient in Jobpack tool Proficient in ASTA tool Education / Experience Construction or engineering degree or a building related qualification with additional experience to equate to degree advantageous 6 years experience in a similar role in the construction industry Construction Safety Induction (white) card First aid certificate
