12 12 12 month contract $145 - $185 per hour (inc-Super) NV1 Security Clearance ACT, QLD, VIC or SA address Our client, a very large, Federal Government organisation responsible for the delivery of advice and high-quality, accessible social, health and child support services and payments, are Seeking the experience of a Senior Gateway Engineer for a long 121212 month contract. Duties of the Senior Gateway Engineer include: Manage infrastructure requirements to meet future infrastructure demand. Manage the provision of infrastructure related operational support for hardware, software and other assets. Manage the prioritisation and escalation of infrastructure issues to ensure timely resolution. Communicate the end-to-end implications of configuration changes. Analyse the quality of requests for change management. Provide detailed, specialist technical advice, including strategic advice to the senior executive where appropriate. Skills and Experience Required A minimum of five (5) years demonstrated experience in the design, management and maintenance of internet gateway and/or large-scale data centre networking environment. Demonstrated experience and technical proficiency in the design of services utilising F5/Blue Coat Layer 4-7 switching/load balancing and proxy systems. Demonstrated experience in the design and deployment of network infrastructure including Cisco Data centre technologies like Cisco ACI, Cisco Routers, nexus switches, routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP. Demonstrated experience with and/or detailed understanding of Palo Alto firewalls and IPS Solutions. Demonstrated experience in the design and implementation of VPN technologies, email and DNS (Infoblox) Solutions. Demonstrated experience in the design and integration of hybrid and public cloud services. Demonstrated experience in the development and maintenance of system architecture and design documentation. Demonstrated experience with or knowledge of Australian Government information security policies, the ASD Information Security Manual and Essential Eight.
