Position Overview: The Industrial Engineering Technologist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimising processes and systems related to our air conditioning solutions. This full-time role requires a thorough understanding of engineering principles, practical problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team to enhance operational efficiency and product quality. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimise industrial processes for air conditioning systems to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new and existing processes. Analyse engineering specifications, systems and processes to identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to enhance productivity, quality, and safety. Provide engineering support and troubleshooting expertise for air conditioning systems and related equipment. Resolve technical issues promptly to minimise downtime and maintain continuous operation In accordance with engineering principles and safety regulations, create standards and policies for installation, modification, quality control, testing, inspection and maintenance. Develop management control systems to make financial planning and cost analysis more efficient Enact quality control procedures to resolve HVAC service problems or minimize costs Manage projects using engineering concepts from beginning through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to ensure project success. Work with customers and management to develop standards for Installations, servicing and maintenance. Design control systems to coordinate activities and service planning to ensure that services meet quality standards Examine and determine personnel requirements Confer with clients about service specifications, vendors about purchases, management personnel about equipment capabilities, and staff about the status of projects Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as an Engineering Technologist or similar role, preferably in the air conditioning or HVAC industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in engineering software and tools. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 - $80,000; plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
