We are now recruiting for a Principal Primary Engineer to join our team in Melbourne or Adelaide. You will join Aurecon’s Energy team, where you will play an integral part in ‘bringing ideas to life’ for our Network Service Provider clients and Renewable Energy Development clients. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’. Lead a team of experienced engineers and provide development opportunities for our emerging team members to ensure that we have a solid foundation for future leaders within the team Design of high voltage substations and other related infrastructure working with voltages from 33kV to 500kV. High voltage cable sizing calculations and reticulation (ideally using CYMAP) Provide concept and detailed design engineering documents such as general arrangements and specifications. Draw upon your own technical expertise, and those of the broader team to deliver high-quality technical advice to our client Contribute to a harmonious team environment and drive delivery excellence across the Energy team How will your future be shaped by us? What We Are Looking For A bachelor’s degree (as a minimum) in Electrical Engineering Understanding of a range of engineering disciplines and experience with various transmission and distribution clients Utilized various engineering software packages such as CYMCAP and CDEGS Have experience within substation primary engineering across HV substations design (up to 500kV ideally) Understanding of engineering design and how it impacts on construction outcomes Ready to bring ideas to life?
