The Role We have an immediate need for a Senior Consultant in Canberra with outstanding Engineering skills and experience in the Defence Industry. This Service Delivery role sits within our Maritime Capability segment, where you will provide engineering consulting services to our clients. While consulting experience would be great, we can help you to develop those skills if you haven’t consulted before. Our Ideal Candidate You are experienced in technical planning, system integration and verification and validation activities. If you have delivered these types of services in, or to, CASG or other Defence clients in the past, we would love to have a chat. As a Defence consultancy, we also need you to be an Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Security Clearance. Required skills and attributes include: A Bachelor or equivalent level qualification in Engineering (Systems, Mechanical / Mechatronic, Electrical, Aerospace, or other relevant Engineering field) Minimum 3 years post graduate experience Humanistic, with a high level of emotional intelligence Excellent communicator / collaborator A proven track record of delivering quality outcomes An active NV1 (or higher) security clearance Having these other abilities would also be awesome but not mandatory: Experience in Systems Engineering processes, preferably in a Defence environment Experience in the One Defence Capability System Experience in the development of artefacts within the One Defence Capability System Knowledge of the Defence industry structure and capability Working knowledge of the ASDEFCON suite Experience in “Above the Line” support directly to the Commonwealth Why join Coras?
