THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES As the Systems & Security Engineer, you'll work in a close-knit team and undertake a broad role focusing on security whilst assisting with network systems engineering related task. Work with a collaborative team with no ego's and be involved in both BAU support and project delivery. This is a full time in-office role. Responsibilities include: Design, implement, maintain, monitor and support IT Infrastructure & Security systems. Incident Management - including incident response & resolution, root cause analysis, and remediation. Implement, maintain & support security systems (Defender, Entra ID, Mimecast, CrowdStrike EDR, Tenable, Fortinet etc). Maintain and support datacenter & cloud infrastructure (Windows Server, Microsoft 365 E5, Intune/SCCM, Azure HCI, Fortinet networking etc. Project delivery including patching, vulnerability management, security uplift initiatives, systems design & implementations etc. Ensure effective and up-to-date documentation. Drive automation. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / BACKGROUND / KNOWLEDGE Suitable for a System Admin / System Engineer with Security Engineering experience inside complex enterprise environments. Ideal for someone looking to join a business that invests in technology and at its heart provides a meaningful, caring, and compassionate service to the community. The following is required: Proven Infrastructure Engineer experience supporting complex Data Centre and public cloud environments (Azure). Hands-on experience managing Defender, Intune, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 E5. Well-developed experience with Email Security, Endpoint Security, IDAM, IDS/IPS, Vulnerability Management etc. Experience inside complex enterprise environments. Competent networking knowledge. Automation mentality with PowerShell. Logical technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Team player with no ego and a willingness to learn who enjoys knowledge sharing. Great communication skills able to deliver complex IT concepts into easy-to-understand language. Able to work full time in the office. This is a full-time permanent role located in near Parramatta offering $120,000 - $125,000 (plus super) - depending on experience.
