A strong understanding of operating systems like Windows Server and Linux, along with enterprise applications such as Active Directory and Exchange. We are currently partnering with a large Consultancy based in Adelaide looking to recruit Infrastructure Engineers to work with government clients/defence. These roles will be working in a Microsoft environment on large-scale migrations from on-prem to Azure. They require proficiency in network engineering principles and technologies such as TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and firewall configurations. Candidates should be experienced with server virtualization platforms like VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V, as well as storage technologies including SAN and NAS. A strong understanding of operating systems like Windows Server and Linux, along with enterprise applications such as Active Directory and Exchange, is essential. Infrastructure Engineer Infrastructure Design: Design and implement on-premises infrastructure solutions based on client requirements and industry best practices. Implementation and Maintenance: Execute the deployment and ongoing maintenance of on-premises infrastructure, ensuring high availability and optimal performance. Security and Compliance: Implement security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements within on-premises environments. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide support for on-premises infrastructure-related issues, troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges promptly. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for on-premises infrastructure configurations and changes.
