About the role Due to our Rapid Growth, our Engineering team in Brisbane are now on the hunt for Network Engineers to assist in the delivery of current and upcoming projects. In this role you will be assisting the engineering team in delivering design and implementation projects into the health sector. In this role, you will undertake duties including, but not limited to the following: Work as part of multidiscipline engineering teams to deliver complex communications projects. High level and detailed network design, equipment configurations and integration for a variety of different applications Hands on work across multiple vendors’ routing, switching, Wi-Fi and firewall equipment on site and in our testing facilities for proofs of concept and factory acceptance testing. Implement client network and security configurations from low level designs. Collaborate with internal stakeholders on security requirements and implementation. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve serious service incidents, including hardware & software faults. Provide consulting to clients to optimise existing networks and identify new and innovative solutions. To be considered for this opportunity you must possess the following skills and experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in network engineering Current CCIE/CCNP Qualification or equivalent Experience working alongside service providers / integrators. Demonstrable aptitude for technology, design and problem solving Excellent understanding of multiple Cisco products, such as Route/Switch, Wireless, Collaboration and Compute Strong understanding of the following routing technology such as IP/MPLS, BGP4, OSPF and SD-WAN within Enterprise environments. Demonstrable knowledge, configuration, and support of network security products such as Checkpoint, Fortinet, Cisco ISE and PCI-DSS Implementation and support knowledge of network management systems, including support of SNMP, Netflow and Syslog protocols. Ability to create professional documentation illustrating network design concepts & solutions. Highly developed verbal and written skills with demonstrated experience in engineering report writing.
