An established organisation based in Melbourne inner suburbs is seeking an experienced Cloud and Network Engineer About the role Day to day duties include; Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure solutions on Azure and AWS. Implement and manage cloud security practices, including IAM roles and policies. Plan and execute cloud migration strategies for on-premises applications and services. Ensure seamless data transfer and application interoperability between cloud and on-premises environments. Implement and manage monitoring tools for cloud and network performance. Apply best practices for system scalability and high availability. Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans. Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and end-users. About you To be successful in this role, you will have: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, Network Engineer, or similar role. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Strong background in on-premises network infrastructure and administration. Proficiency with cloud services and management tools (Azure Portal, AWS Management Console, etc.). Experience with networking protocols and technologies Knowledge of scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Python, Terraform, etc.). Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, etc.). Relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect are not essential but highly desirable Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
