121212 month contract - Multiple Positions $130 - $180 per hour (inc-Super) -market estimate / negotiable TSPV Security Clearance required - or recently held 12 months Canberra location - Full-time onsite Our client, a large Federal Government Organisation, whose focus is on foreign signals intelligence, military operations, cyber warfare and information security, are Seeking the experience of a System Administrator and a System Engineer for a long 121212 month contract, based in Brindabella Business Park, Canberra. Both the System Administrator and System Engineer will work within a large program of work which builds and uplifts ICT systems and support organisational elements. The Client is also looking for the following TSPV Labour Hire Contractors Business Analyst Network Engineer Security Engineer IT Security Advisor Test Engineer Security Analyst VMware Engineer RHEL Engineer Storage Engineer Requirments of the System Administrator Demonstrated experience and qualifications in Microsoft server and desktop technologies (including Exchange, WSUS, MECM) Experience in Microsoft PowerShell scripting. Demonstrated experience and qualifications in administering Omnissa (VMware EUC) and Citrix Cloud technologies. Deployment and imaging technology troubleshooting. Major Responsibilities: Develop and operate a windows server platform including Active Directory, DNS, PKI, remote desktop services and WSUS. Design, test and deploy new versions of the Windows operating system, build and maintain system images and provide integration for VMware and Citrix VDI Platforms. Integrate and support management of security software and configurations. Provide and develop VM image and template automation. Implement VDI performance monitoring and tool tuning for a dynamic network environment. Integrate with MFA solutions. Implement regular checks to confirm system health status, including hardware and software. Develop and operate a backup and recovery service for virtualised Windows systems. Troubleshoot and resolve Windows issues. Requirments of the System Engineer Demonstrated experience working as a Systems Engineer. Major Responsibilities: Provide design assistance and where possible lead design process and communication within the team to enable the development of solution that meets current and future project needs. Develop, implement and manage engineering artefacts, which delivers capabilities required to enable project direction. Manage project level engineering risks and issues escalated to the program by supervisors, peers, business stakeholders and project managers. Develop reports and acceptance documentation. Provide System Integration support to technical leads with minimum supervision.
