Opportunity for a Graduate engineer to build their career foundations Fixed term full-time opportunity - up to 3 years $76K per annum super, 35 hours per week About the role Join the City of Coffs Harbour and gain valuable experience working closely with our Development Engineering team. As an integral part of the team, you will have the chance to work closely with our esteemed Development Engineering team, gaining valuable experience in guiding and supporting the development assessment team and assessing and determining subdivision works certificates and subdivision certificates. This role offers a unique platform for personal and professional growth, allowing you to build your skills in providing expert advice on development applications, civil works associated with private developments and actively contributing to the creation of construction and design documentation. This is your chance to become an essential part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to enhancing the city's development processes and fostering innovation. About you? If you are a recent Graduate or looking to build on the early foundations of your career this is an exciting opportunity. Essential Bachelor's degree or substantial commencement in Civil Engineering or other relevant equivalent Engineering qualification recognised by Engineers Australia Experience in the civil engineering field Class C Drivers Licence Desirable Experience in development engineering related matters working with a local council or consultancy Experience and knowledge in undertaking Development Assessments under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 Experience working directly with customers National Construction Induction Certificate What's on offer? $76K per annum Superannuation Temporary Position (up to three (3) years) Full Time 35 hours per week Brand new office location at Yarrila Place Options to accrue flex time and flexible working arrangements Scope for performance-based salary increases.
