Decent LOM with a strong production outlook High-grade narrow-vein gold and antinomy Experiencing minor ground squeezing and convergence 4G Telstra coverage on site The Role Reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent, you will enjoy working in a close-knit team of experienced underground mining professionals. Your duties will include (but not limited to);- Constructing and setting the weekly production and development schedule Underground inspections of production areas to enable efficient operation and planning Completion of engineering tasks as required (ring designs, production plans, survey plans) Track daily, weekly and monthly production and development activities and determining compliance against forecast Undertake geotechnical inspections and minor rehabilitation plans to address geotechnical issues/hazards Undertake risk assessments, JSA's and Step Back forms Assisting in Incident investigations and reporting Your Value Tertiary qualification in Engineering or equivalent qualifications A minimum of two years' experience as a Mining Engineer (preferable with underground time completed) Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office computer packages (Word, Excel etc) Proficient in the use of mine design software (Deswik) A good communicator with strong verbal, written and presentation skills First Aid Certificate or equivalent Strong safety focus on site A current driver license The Opportunity If you're ready to take that next step in your career and gain further exposure to a new mine site, you will also the enjoy the following benefits; Permanent, full-time and long-term career opportunities The opportunity to gain experience at their underground operation in Europe Work for a reputable principal gold miner with a focus on bringing on people that demonstrate the right mind set and behaviours Join a diverse, multi-faceted, close-knit team of underground mining professionals Educational assistance (Support upskilling initiatives post your 6-month probation period) Increased leave entitlements for annual leave (Dependent on company performance) Subsidised childcare and gym memberships What's next?
