The Organisation My client is a multi-disciplined, international engineering consultancy that has established itself as a market leader through successful design of challenging and complex structures. They have an enviable project portfolio across multiple sectors including commercial, health, education, retail, residential and industrial. Due to an increase in activity across the board they are seeking to employ a Senior Structural Engineer for their Melbourne office. The Role As a Senior Structural Engineer your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Produce designs, documentation, specifications, fee proposals, reports and other documentation to meet client requirements for projects. Project management. Completing site inspections and preparation of client reports. Carrying out general engineering duties to ensure quality and systems/process requirements are achieved. Develop and maintain relationships with clients. Supporting clients and internal customers on technical queries. The Successful Applicant In order to be successful for this role you will ideally have: Minimum Bachelor Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering. At least 5 years’ experience in a Structural Engineering role within a consultancy environment. Experience working across a variety projects in commercial, health, education, retail and residential. The ability to produce complex calculations in all structural materials, i.e. steel, concrete, timber, masonry. Knowledge of Spacegass , ETABS, Rapt, RAM concept will be an advantage. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
