Due to recent growth, we have a fantastic opportunity available for a driven Senior Project Engineer (SPE) to join our leadership team, overseeing projects from Brisbane to Coffs Harbour. Reporting to the Project Manager, the SPE will be responsible for: Providing engineering and project management support onsite to supervisory and project staff to deliver successful execution of multiple projects Developing cost effective engineering solutions; working collaboratively with the Hawthorne Civil team and clients Managing and monitoring progress and performance against safety, time, cost, and quality targets to achieve successful outcomes Monthly forecasting of time and cost outcomes at project completion Procurement of key subcontractors and suppliers, along with plant, equipment, and material across multiple projects Undertaking inspections of temporary works and pre-pour inspections Preparing monthly financial and progress reports To be successful in this role you will need the following: Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, RPEQ a bonus Minimum 5 years’ experience in the construction industry - TMR and RMS structures highly desirable Demonstrable experience in project engineering, including the development of program of works, cost tracking and forecasting Strong knowledge of HSE requirements and implementation Excellent client relationship management A straight shooter with excellent problem solving capability This is a permanent opportunity that offers excellent remuneration, ongoing training and development, a fantastic team culture and an attractive reward and recognition program.
