Seeking an experienced product test engineer with an automotive background. An excellent opportunity to work close to home in HALLAM The Company: Our client, based in Hallam, has 30 years experience in the automotive industry and specialises in the concept, development, validation and production of custom automotive solutions which are designed to improve driving safety and comfort. The Role: As a validation engineer you will lead validation processes to ensure products are robustly validated to minimise field warranty and customer complaints. You will design, release and build with programmers and testers to support end of line and validation activities. To be successful you will have experience with the testing of: Electrical (power supply fluctuations, short circuit, ESD) Mechanical (vibration, shock, drop) Environmental (low/high temperature, humidity, ingress protection) Compliance (EMC, RMC, E-Mark, ADR) Durability (lifetime operational durability, scratch, chemical resistance) You: A qualification in electrical, electronics or computer systems engineering 5 years of solid industry experience in validation engineering Experienced with compliance to processes, eg; ISO/TS16949, IATF16949 standards Solid experience creating and executing DVP&R test plans Excellent at documenting validation test procedure results Have worked with internal and external test facilities What Next?
