Willyama Services is seeking a skilled Cloud Security engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Security Engineer, you'll have relevant experience in Cloud Security, especially in Azure. The role will be responsible for working with Cloud Engineers and the project delivery team, implementing security controls across the Azure client cloud environments in a timely manner. The role will be enforcing security best practices in the Azure Cloud environment, including but not limited to Azure policies and deployment, Azure Kubernetes Services, App Service Environments, IaaS and PaaS, ensuring the continuous improvement of the cloud security posture. Key responsibilities: Advanced proficiency with Azure cloud platform. Advance proficiency with cloud security and compliance standards (Essential 8, ISO 27001, CIS, NIST). Proficient with security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and SIEM systems. Understanding of encryption methods, secure coding practices, and identity and access management (IAM). Ability to identify and mitigate security risks. Proficient in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. Ensure deliverables are completed within target timeframes and are consistently of high-quality. Skilled in identifying and mitigating security risks and vulnerabilities. Skilled in analyzing security incidents and performing root cause analysis. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Capacity to stay calm under pressure and manage stressful situations effectively. Requirements: Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) One or more of the following Microsoft Certifications is desirable: AZ-500: Microsoft Azure Security Technologies SC-100: Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect SC-200: Microsoft Security Operations Analyst SC-300: Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator SC-400: Administering Information Protection and Compliance Education: Tertiary qualification in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant industry experience. Must be able to maintain a security clearance (must be an Australian citizen). The role is based in Canberra, but applicants from Syndey will also be considered.
