You will be working out of their new and upmarket office in West End, Brisbane, with some degree of hybrid working from home and on the client's sites available. You will work as part of a close-knit team. Working together and autonomously, to deliver real solutions, that make a real difference. You will use your extensive control systems experience to design, develop, implement, maintain and program new and existing industrial systems. YOU Must be an experience programmer, willing to get stuck in and get the job done. While this role is largely office based, it will also require some on-client-site work…which is where all the fun is You will bring with you: Relevant Engineering Qualifications – Mechatronics / Software / Electrical Previous experience programming in: Alan Bradley, Siemens & Schneider. Demonstratable experience of development in IEC61131-3 languages like - Studio5000, Codesys, Step7, TIA, Control Expert (Unity Pro), SCADA (Citect, Fast/TOOLS, Ignition, FactoryTalk, PlantPAx etc), Configuration & management of industrial networks (CAN, CIP, Profinet, MODBUS, OPC, network safety variants etc Understand the basic principles of software development lifecycle, with an ability to use - VMWare, HyperV or Docker, Background in Software Programming C/C++, Rust & Python Highly Desirable Risk management (ISO121000 risk assessment, HAZID, HAZOP, CHAZOP etc), Functional Safety and / or Cyber Security, CPEng, RPEQ Asset tracking and demonstrated technical project management experience from start to finish BENEFITS & CULTURE This small, dynamic team will allow you to grow and genuinely have your voice heard.
