DevSecOps Specialist Start Date: 2 September 2024 Length: 10 months 2 x 12 month extensions Location of work: VIC, SA The DevSecOps engineers and/or specialists will have demonstrated skills in development and management of pipelines and deployment tools, enabling CI/CD practices, ideally within a Continuous Authority to Operate (CATO) environment. Specific requirements are for resources with deep knowledge and understanding of full DevSecOps system stacks within virtualised or containerised platform environments, encompassing automated tooling and enabling functional components. Specialists will be responsible for undertaking and contributing to project work, while also administering research environments. CI/CD and CATO business processes include a strong focus on cyber security and span both the Private and Public Cloud domains. Role Requirements: Have sound interpersonal skills, including the ability to work productively and collaboratively as a member of a team Ability to develop strong working relationships across multiple business areas and recommend or co-ordinate efforts to deliver fit-for-purpose and timely outcomes Experience contributing positively to the outcomes of highly functional teams Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both colleagues and clients at multiple organisational levels Have well-developed internal and external customer relationship management skills Have demonstrated effective written, verbal communication, effective listening and problem-solving skills Be able to respond positively to challenging work and deadlines Have developed proficiency in time management, including the ability to prioritise and manage multiple concurrent tasks Be proficient in troubleshooting, investigation and reverse engineering of complex and undocumented systems Ideally have experience collaborating and effectively contributing to the outcomes of Agile development teams Key Experience: Experience developing Ansible playbooks and/or other software defined infrastructure products Experience with cloud aware architectures and software defined infrastructure, including containerisation and Kubernetes Experience deploying and/or supporting CI/CD toolsets such as Gitlab Experience deploying and/or supporting artefact repositories, such as Artifactory Sound Linux skills Some software development experience would be highly beneficial What You Get A company that cares for their people.
