Vencora Business Unit: Job Summary: To take responsibility for the administration of existing Infrastructure implementation and management Job Description: We’d like to meet Infrastructure engineer with: Systems management, system software and tools experience of IBM WAS and databases like DB2, Microsoft SQL Servers Should have experience of systems Installation and management, implementation, configuration and management in the relevant technologies Solid 2yrs commercial experience as a Server administrator Experience in multi flavoured operating systems like Widows, Linux and its management Experience in Devops technologies like the Salt, Phython etc The Server Administrator Responsibilities include: Ensure that the systems is patched and kept up to date with latest updates, patch sets. Server administration activities, like scripts execution, Job, backup monitoring etc Be a key person in the planning and performance of all server installations. To resolve complex server issues and have an in-depth knowledge of relevant technologies. Assist DevOps operations in deployment, management activities. Develop DevOps scripts in automating activities. Provide technical support in areas of access management, environment management. Backup and recovery of the database within development and production environments. Testing and troubleshooting of new installations and patches and new relevant database software. Monitoring and tuning system performance. Establishing user access controls, Environment maintenance Work as part of a dedicated product team, potentially interacting with clients at all stages.
