Senior Software Engineer - Security Company Overview Reporting to: VP of Engineering/CTO Blockchain Company 50 Employee Hybrid Working arrangement - 1 day a week in office. Sydney CBD Overview: You will be responsible and involved in prototyping proof-of-concepts to mitigate risks, with a focus on security, privacy, cloud security, and cryptography, particularly in the context of blockchains and web3. Responsibilities: Offer specialized security expertise to technical teams. Partner with the CTO to design and evaluate proof-of-concept protocols and enhancements. Perform applied research on security issues pertinent to the company. Collaborate with teams on technical research challenges and contribute to blog posts, white papers, and other public documentation. Requirements: Proven experience in cloud, operating system, and network security, including SEC2/ISO27001 certifications and cryptography protocols. Skilled in designing secure architectures. Proficient in understanding security and distributed systems research literature. Knowledgeable and passionate about blockchains, Web3, and related technologies. Must have full working rights in Australia.
