We have an immediate requirement for a Lead/Senior Electrical Engineer to join our office in Perth on a permanent basis. Reporting to the EPC GM you will be responsible for carrying out a range of activities including but not limited to; Main responsibilities: Building a model in PSCAD, PSS/E and PowerFactory Developing technical requirements for grid connection application (familiar with WEM & AEMO registration process) R1 model development and R2 model validation Power and control system design across multiple power analysis platforms Power System Analysis Studies Power Quality Assessment FEED and Detailed Design Supporting tendering teams for cost and work planning for power system and control studies Technical Report Writing Experience, skills and qualifications : Member of Engineers Australia and Chartered Status (CPEng) preferred Expert proficiency in PSCAD, PSS/E, and Python Extensive experience with GPS R1 models and R2 model validation Experience with AEMO connection application checklist requirements Good track record of performing static and dynamic power system studies Working knowledge of design quality assurance processes to meet ISO 9001:2016. Any BESS and Hybrid Power Generation experience will be looked on favourably.
