Rubix Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer Overview: Rubix Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, build, and commissioning of advanced network solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network architecture, implementation, and support, with a strong background in working within a Defence environment. This role requires a deep understanding of network technologies, as well as the ability to build strong client relationships to ensure the success of current and future projects. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement new network solutions, enhancing the efficiency of existing networks. Install, configure, and support network equipment, including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP. Procure network equipment and manage vendor relationships. Configure firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security. Monitor network performance, providing ongoing troubleshooting to ensure optimal functionality. Report network status to key stakeholders and provide updates on project progress. Essential Qualifications/Certifications/Skills: Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline or relevant experience. CISCO CCNA & CCNP certifications. Australian Government TSPV/NV2 Security Clearance. Experience within a Defence environment. Proven experience as a Network Engineer with hands-on expertise in network hardware and infrastructure. Desirable Qualifications/Education/Training/Skills: Post-graduate qualification in a related technical discipline. Experience in network architecture design. Experience with ICT projects. ITIL Foundation Training and Certification. Over 10 years of experience in a technical discipline.
