12 Month Contract 2 X 12 Month Extension NV1 Clearance Required Greenway, Canberra Office WFH Flexibility Our Client, a large Federal Government Department is seeking an experienced Broadcom Symantec Data Centre Security Engineer to join their team for a long term contract. The Broadcom Symantec Data Centre Security Engineer will have the ability to provide detail design for optimised solution, improve the current implementation of Data Centre Security and guide the team on end-to-end best practices. Primary Technologies. Broadcom Data Centre Security, Microsoft AppLocker, Windows Active Directory, Windows PowerShell Key duties may include, but are not limited to: Perform BAU operations, maintenance and management of Broadcom DCS. Planning, scheduling, and implementing periodical patch, bug fixes and major system upgrades for Broadcom DCS. Document technical knowledge in the knowledge database (Standard Operating Procedures), update detailed design and as built documentation. Server management migration from DCS to AppLocker To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally have: Experience isolating and resolving the root cause of the technical support issues; Implementing daily health checks and configuring / managing reporting and knowledge transfer to other support staff; Experience and knowledge of Microsoft AppLocker and PowerShell; Strong technical understanding of Broadcom DCS, including configuring and optimising the product; Strong understanding of the Essential Eight Application Control mitigation strategy, and the applicable Information Security Manual (ISM) controls, and how to implement them within Broadcom DCS; Experience in planning, scheduling, and implementing periodical patch, bug fixes and major system upgrades for Broadcom DCS.
