About the role: As the Controls and Cyber Security Engineer you support the roll out of new OT security initiatives with a focus on improving the generation cyber security maturity to meet compliance requirements in line with Origin’s business strategy, purpose and values. Reporting to the Engineering Manager – Controls and Cybersecurity, you will evaluate, apply and oversee cybersecurity practices in the OT environments to balance cost, risk and performance according to Origin’s business strategy, legislation, licencing requirements and industry practices. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical guidance for cybersecurity projects and initiatives. Oversee design and implementation of control systems and communication design for IT/OT interfaces Provide threat and vulnerability analysis and perform risk assessments Maintain up-to-date cybersecurity documentation. Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and resolve OT issues. What will you bring? Hands on Engineering experience with Industrial Process Systems (SCADA, DCS, PLCs) OR experience in a similar OT Cyber Security position Experience with operational support for networking (Routing, Switching, VLAN, VOB etc) and distributed computer systems Degree qualified in Mechatronics, Electrical, Control Engineering or Computer Science Strong networking and Windows OS expertise Outstanding communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning So, why join us?
