Project Engineer needed for a 3 month contract in Sydney CBD. Tier 2 Builder, Commercial project We are currently looking for an experienced project engineer or senior project engineer to work on a retail & office development in Sydney's CBD. This role will be initially on a 3 month contract with a well known Australian Tier 2 builder There is a large amount of stakeholder engagement, working closely with multiple clients and managing a number of different trades. This will be a very busy project working in a live environment. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, and regulations. Maintain project documentation, including schedules, contracts, and change orders. Monitor progress and address issues to keep projects on track. Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental and regulatory compliance standards throughout all project phases. Implement and oversee quality assurance measures Coordinating meetings with subcontractors, teams and clients (and occasionally taking minutes) Managing defects rectification and close-outs Actively address and resolve design issues that arise during the construction process to maintain project momentum and quality. Support project managers in planning, scheduling, and budgeting. Facilitate collaboration with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for timely and cost-effective delivery. To succeed in this role, you will have: A tertiary qualification in Construction Management/ Engineering or a related discipline Proven knowledge of the construction process (approx. 4 years) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail For any questions relating to this role please click apply and we will be in touch to discuss further.
