Network Engineer - CCNA Canberra, ACT APPLICANTS MUST HOLD AN NV1 SECURITY CLEARANCE Our client is a Defence and Engineering enterprise business on the search for a Network Engineer with expertise in Cisco technologies to work with the Navy in Australia. This role will be involved with a network rollout project across the Navy designed to improve network connectivity across the Navy. Due to the nature of the industry and the sensitivity of information involved in this role, it is essential that you hold an active NV1 security clearance in this role. Essential experience: Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) Experience working as a Network Engineer doing switching, routing, transmission and troubleshooting of networks Possess a basic understanding of Layer-3 packet encryption, load balancing, network aggregation and network security Desirable experience: Experience with Fortigate and a Fortinet Certified Associate certificate Formal Cybersecurity training Degree in ICT Network or Communications Engineering (or related degree) Responsibilities: Support initial workshops and requirements gathering activities Supporting in identifying hardware and solutions, and designing the system baseline Installing, configuring and testing networks and equipment, providing ongoing support for Navy staff If this role interests you and you qualify the key experience required, then please apply with your most up-to-date CV.
