Key Responsibilities: Design and implement enterprise-scale physical networks across multiple security domains. Lead virtual network design and implementation within a VMware-based Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC). Automate deployment, configuration, and management of network devices across various vendors. Enable automated security and operational monitoring for network infrastructure. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure best practice alignment in network deployment. Develop comprehensive design and operational documentation. Assist with planning multi-phase project deliveries. Essential Skills & Experience: Expertise in configuring and managing Cisco enterprise hardware and Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW). Strong understanding of network best practices in SDDC environments. Experience with Network Management Systems, SNMPv3 protocol, and SYSLOG. Advanced troubleshooting skills for complex network issues. Familiarity with Cisco ACI, Cisco ISE, and VMware NSX-t. Automation of network device configuration, backups, and restores. Hands-on experience with automation tools like Terraform and Ansible. Strong understanding of DevSecOps models, CI/CD methodologies, and ISM compliance (Essential 8). Proficient in packet capture techniques across diverse network devices. Desirable Qualities: Ability to work independently and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
