We're looking for an Executive Advisor - Reliability Engineering to join our Asset Management team with a focus in mining, manufacturing or resources across Australia. The primary role of the Executive Advisor is securing a pipeline of work to grow GHD Advisory's presence in the Reliability Engineering market. This role can be based in Brisbane or Darwin . Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Using your expertise in the mining, manufacturing and resources industries to successfully win and secure infrastructure asset management projects using your knowledge of the sector and by maximising industry contacts. Identify key clients and opportunities and lead client engagement in agreed target areas. Undertaking business development to strengthen GHD's pipeline of projects in the Asset Management and Reliability Engineering / Maintenance Management field. Develop or lead data and system solutions to improve the operational management and strategy of physical infrastructure in asset intensive organisations. Develop and lead implementation of operational readiness programs. Develop and lead reliability engineering and maintenance management functions, asset and maintenance strategies, risk assessments, conduct data analysis and modelling, review business processes and systems for clients and enable AM / MM and Reliability Engineering knowledge transfer and capability development for clients. Foster best practice processes, knowledge, and systems for Asset Management. What you will bring to the team: Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) and/or Masters (engineering or equivalent). Chartered status with Engineers Australia and / or RPEQ (as required in QLD) will be highly regarded. Senior level experience related to mechanical engineering (or equivalent) and the field of reliability engineering, maintenance management in the mining, oil and gas or heavy industry markets. Business development skills reflected in the achievement of revenue and growth targets coupled with high level client relationship management skills. Proven leadership experience on multi-agency/organisational projects and in the development of team members. Strong report writing, interviewing, facilitation and presentation skills. Ability to influence others, strong negotiating skills. A high level of market awareness, providing sound advice to clients and high quality and viable solutions. Leads the development of new business initiatives, identifying and removing commercial barriers. A good understanding of ISO 55000 Series and application of relevant industry guidance material such as IAM, Asset Management Council. Interested? Apply now.
