About The Opportunity Join our team as a Civil Engineer and make a significant impact on the infrastructure in the Bundaberg region. As a vital member of our Infrastructure Planning team, you'll play a crucial role in the development of asset renewal programs for roads, pathways, and drainage infrastructure. Here's what you'll be doing: Assist in the development of asset renewal programs for roads, pathways, and drainage infrastructure based on best practice asset management systems, standards, and practices. Conduct condition assessments of these infrastructure assets. Contribute to the development of Asset Management Plans for Council's road, pathway, and drainage networks. Provide professional engineering advice within the Engineering Services section. About You Bachelor of Engineer (Civil) qualification. Hold a current 'C' class drivers' license. Demonstrated high-level knowledge in the planning, construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation of road and drainage assets. Excellent written and oral communication skills with a strong focus on customer service. High level ability to effectively communicate with other Council staff, Councillors, the community and other external parties.
