TSPV clearance mandatory Canberra location - multiple positions Long 121212 month Federal Government contract Our client, a large Federal Government department, is seeking highly experienced and security cleared VMware Engineers, RHEL Engineers, Storage Engineers and Network Engineers for a 3 year program of work to build and uplift ICT systems and support organisation elements. Summary of positions: VMware Engineer Develop and operate a VMware virtualisation platform using VCF; Develop and operate hardware and software for VCF; Design, test and deploy new versions of VMware software. RHEL Engineer Develop and operate an integrated RHEL server platform including RHEL IdM and Satellite; Design, test and deploy new versions of the RHEL operating system, build and maintain system images and provide integration for VMware; Develop and operate a backup and recovery service for virtualised RHEL systems. Storage Engineer Produce designs, design patterns, configurations, and documentation in accordance with industry standards for storage and backup systems; Perform maintenance, monitoring, and administration functions for SAN and backup systems; Implement SAN infrastructure/architecture (FC HBA's, fabrics, SAN's, etc.) and Cisco MDS SAN switches. Network Engineer Lead the design, build, test and operation of networks services in a multi-vendor environment; Conduct requirement traceability and prioritisation activities, and determine the feasibility of individual requirements in order to support the design of elements of the system; Plan the configuration, implementation, automation and testing of an enterprise gateway environment, adhering to security policy and compliance.
